Ethics, Rationalism, andSecularism

 

South Place Ethical Society holds classes and lectures on a wide variety of topics and issues relating to ethics, rationalism, secularism and current affairs. See the Conway Hall events link or www.spes.org.uk for further details.


Music

  City Philharmonic Choral Society is a small friendly choir which rehearses most Tuesday evenings. The choir performs major choral works twice a year under conductor Stephen Rhys, MBE. There is no requirement to be able to sight read and there are no auditions. See www.cityphil.org.uk for details.
   

Workers Music Association began in 1936 to perform at a time when the world was hurtling towards a struggle to contain the menance of facism; embodied the conflict of the Spanish Civil War; the development of the holocaust; wholesale genicide, and the suppression of the human spirit. Theatre

  Method Studio is a small drama school dedicated to the teaching of the "Method", a system of acting first devised and perfected by Constantin Stanislavski, the original Director of the Moscow Arts Theatre, and continued by such American teachers as Sanford Meisner, Lee Strasberg, Stella Adler and Robert Lewis. www.themethodstudio.com
