The Voltaire Lecture 2017, with Nick Cohen

Nick Cohen is a radical and sometimes controversial British journalist, political commentator and author. A columnist for the Observer, he also occasionally writes for Time, the Spectator, Standpoint, and New Humanist. He has written a number of books, including Cruel Britannia (1999), What’s Left? (2007), which argues that the liberal left of the 20th century came to support the far right of the 21st century, Waiting for the Etonians (2009) and You Can’t Read This Book (2012), on censorship.
