14th September 2025 · 5:30pm - 8:30pm
Doors open: 5:00pm
In person

The prize-winning Isla Quartet is comprised of students from the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music, where they receive mentorship from the Marmen Quartet. They were recently selected as 2025 Tillett Debut Artists and are looking forward to performances around the UK in the next couple of seasons. For their Conway Hall début, they offer an exquisite selection of baroque and classical quartets, culminating in the third ‘Razumovsky’ quartet, written in 1806 for the Russian ambassador in Vienna, Count Andreas Razumovsky.
The Isla Quartet are sponsored by The Tillett Trust as part of its DEBUT programme.
Pre-Concert Recital with Dovestone Quartet
To kick off our series of pre-concert recitals in collaboration with the UK conservatoires across our 25/26 season, the Royal Northern College of Music’s Dovestone Quartet perform Debussy’s only string quartet. Since meeting as students at the RNCM, they have been cultivating a deep musical bond, which is evident in their performances. In 2024, the Dovestone Quartet had the privilege of making their debut in the RNCM Concert Hall, where they earned second place in the prestigious Hirsch Prize. Throughout their journey, the quartet has been mentored by esteemed chamber musicians, including Robin Ireland and Catherine Yates, gaining invaluable insight and refining their artistic voices.
