Philanthropic support

Philanthropy plays a vital role in sustaining Conway Hall’s mission. The generosity of our patrons, trusts, and foundations enables us to plan ambitiously and ensures that Conway Hall remains a welcoming space for diverse communities to engage with ethics through learning, conversation, and creativity.

Patrons

Becoming a Conway Hall Patron means making a meaningful commitment to our work and values.

Patrons may choose to support Conway Hall’s work as a whole, or direct their giving towards a particular area of interest, such as our Sunday Concerts or flagship Ethical Matters talks. In doing so, they help sustain the projects that matter most to them and increase the impact of our work on the communities we serve.

Patrons are recognised for their generosity, with opportunities for acknowledgement both publicly and privately.

Please contact fundraising@conwayhall.org.uk to find out more.

Trusts and foundations

Conway Hall is grateful to be supported by the following trusts and foundations: Golsoncott Foundation, Herbert Howells Trust, Idlewild Trust, Laurie and Gillian Marsh Charitable Trust, Mbili Charitable Trust, Rose Foundation, Sylvia Waddilove Foundation, and Michael Tippett Musical Foundation.

Our community of trusts and foundations fund projects including our Sunday Concerts and Ethical Matters talks, as well as supporting vital repairs to our Grade II listed building.

Please contact fundraising@conwayhall.org.uk to explore how we can work with you to find the right project to support.

  • Invitations to Conway Hall events, including our annual Ethical Gala
  • Opportunities to visit Conway Hall and meet with our staff to learn more about our work
  • Recognition across social media, event programmes, and other publicity – or anonymity if preferred

We need your help!

We host talks, concerts, performances, community and social events. However, we are an independent charity and receive no funding from the government. Everything we do is dependent upon our commercial activity and the generosity of supporters like you.
