Sunday Concerts: Treske Quartet + Pre-Concert Recital with Ruiqi Fang & Markus Sadler

“The Treske Quartet concluded their debut Conway Hall recital… mustering all the impassioned intensity needed… their sound is meticulously blended, aided by the hall’s excellent acoustic.” – The Guardian

The Treske Quartet is an emerging ensemble based in Manchester, UK. Their identity as a quartet lies in our commitment to championing repertoire by 20th & 21st century composers. Their goal is to curate and perform programmes that include a variety of musical styles by established and emerging composers, and to give audiences radical experiences with new sound worlds. Their Conway Hall programme offers an eclectic mix of repertoire, with something for everyone to enjoy.

Pre-Concert Recital with Ruiqi Fang & Markus Sadler

Ruiqi and Markus will be known to many of you from their wonderful short performance at least year’s Clements Prize for Composers, or indeed from their recital as part of our Ethical Gala in March. We are delighted that they have agreed to return as part of our conservatoire pre-concert recital series to play a beautiful programme of duets, including Schubert’s F minor Fantasy, undoubtedly a masterpiece of the genre.
