RUSSELL ROOM
The Russell Room has a seating capacity of 35 and is perfect for auditions, rehearsals and meetings alike.
It is located on the ground floor and is accessible by wheelchair via a shallow ramp.
It has a full HD screen – compatible with HDMI-enabled computers and devices (for VGA devices a projector and screen can be used).
The Russell Room is named after the mathematician, philosopher and campaigner Bertrand Russell, who became 3rd Earl Russell. Russell campaigned for pacifism, social democracy and nuclear disarmament, among other things. He published his ideas prolifically, and was open about his changing evolving thinking on different political and social issues over time. He won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1950.
