A Monk’s Guide to Happiness – with Gelong Thubten

How can meditation help us live calmer and happier lives?

Join Action for Happiness for an evening of wisdom with Gelong Thubten, an inspiring British monk who is passionate about the life-changing power of meditation. Thubten will share practical ideas from his best-selling new book The Monk’s Guide to Happiness – to help us master our minds, develop compassion and find lasting fulfilment.

Thubten sees meditation as far more than just a tool for relaxation or stress reduction; he sees it as a vital foundation for living well in our busy modern lives. His ideas include how to practice micro-moments of mindfulness each day as well as techniques to help us overcome adversity and discover true happiness.

This event is in the Main Hall on the ground floor.
