 Concert of Chamber Music

Harmoniemusik are pleased to be performing two giants from the classical repertoire. First the great Ricercare from J.S.Bach’s Musical Offering, an astonishing six-part fugue written at the end of his life for Frederick the Great; and secondly the wonderful Piano Quintet by Dvorak, another mature masterpiece of chamber music. In between they will perform the unusual wind quartet by Frank Bridge (teacher of Benjamin Britten) and the rarely-heard quintet by Caplet, a contemporary of Debussy.

This event is in the Main Hall on the ground floor. For accessibility info: https://www.conwayhall.org.uk/about/visiting-us/
