Making Connections: Partnership and Collaboration in Craft

Join CraftNet and the Crafts Council for an afternoon exploring partnership and collaborations in craft practice. Craft makers and other creative professionals frequently work in partnerships, and this networking event will present case studies on collaborative working to spark discussion about different models for making work.

2pm: registration, refreshments and networking

Presentations and discussion 2.30-4.30pm, followed by refreshments and networking to 5pm

Speakers include Lorna Burn and Annabelle Campbell, Crafts Council on collaborative models for exhibitions; Tracey Rowledge, Artist and Bookbinder and Sarah Warsop, Designer and Choreographer in conversation with Liz Cooper, curator and CraftNet London representative

CraftNet is an informal network of meetings, events and exchange to look at and share ways of developing and promoting contemporary craft. All are welcome – from commercial galleries to local authority museums, from organisations and trusts to individual makers, artists and curators.
