Sunday Concerts Elena Toponogova Ensemble

Formed of some of London’s finest musicians, the Elena Toponogova Ensemble makes their Conway Hall début in a programme showcasing the finest in Russian and Ukrainian chamber works. Nikolai Medtner, a Russian composer and friend of Sergei Rachmaninoff, has become increasingly recognised as one of the most important Russian composers for the piano. His last work, the Piano Quintet, which he worked on for over 40 years, completes this fascinating programme.
