 Emerging Women

Ubuntu simply means humanity towards others, word made famous by Nelson Mandela & Desmond Tutu. Our platform brings together a community of everyday activists with the aim of developing the African diaspora in the UK and a focus on Africa’s development through grassroot work. The emerging women event aims to:

Encourage networking amongst a new generation of social entrepreneurs, philanthropists that are actively engaged in Africa.
Develop more understanding on the positive impact of women in Africa’s development from history.
Develop competency of how women in diaspora can invest in Africa’s development.
Tips for women who have a desire to move back and work in Africa.
Q&A panel discussion and one to one mentoring with the panel of experienced speakers.

Registration: £7 early-bird, £10 standard.
