Nikki Ray is our first speaker of our 2015 CLHG Talk series. Please note this months talk is on a Friday as we have our AGM on the Wednesday.

Nikki recently served as a human rights monitor for three months in the West Bank and will speak of her experiences and how the occupation affects Palestinians daily.

25 year old Nikki recently completed a master’s degree in Human Rights Law at SOAS, University of London and was eager to do something practical with her degree. She has been a dedicated anti-arms trade and peace campaigner over the last few years and focused on gender and conflict in her master’s degree.

Doors at 6.30 pm for talk at 7.00 pm

Please arrive early to have a glass of wine from our charity wine bar find your seat and chat with other members.

Donations to the wine bar will go to Nikki’s chosen charity, the Assirk Assaghir Nablus Circus. The Nablus Circus School a progressive space for children and young people in Nablus to learn circus skills.

All our talks are open to the general public and free to attend but we do rely on those who can, to make a donation of what they can afford, to cover the costs of room, equipment hire and help keep our talks free to all. Please give generously so we can continue with this policy.
