Fear Hack – January 2018
24th January 2018 · 5:30pm - 9:30pm
In person | Virtual event
At the Fear Hack we approach fear differently. We look at the things that make us anxious from a different direction and at the end of the session we run an exercise where we make our fear our friend so that we can learn from it.
This is a place where we all get to turn fear into excitement.
Fear Hack is a 3 hour workshop (arrive from 5.30pm for a 6pm start), full of interactive sessions in which you can play with different approaches to build your “re-framing fear” toolkit.
This session will be run by Hilary Gallo and Kay Scorah.
It’s important that we do this in a group. We have found that we each can play a role in helping each other. Some of the most powerful insights we can get come from others. Most importantly, it’s a safe place to work with what bothers you most.
After the CEO attended an early session, we are working in partnership with Conway Hall and the Fear Hack will take place in the Library upstairs. The Library at Conway Hall overlooking Red Lion Square is one of the little known gems of London although drinks and food must be left outside – you can bring your own or there is a water cooler on site.
We are running this not for profit so thanks to the help we have from Conway Hall Fear Hack is free but we would encourage you – if you can – to make a donation to the Fear Hacking Fund – now or after the event. Please Note: Donations are not tickets.
Fear Hack is based on the successful formula of Friday Club which ran four times in development from September 2016 to May 2017.
Many thanks to Simon Heath who drew our mouse and elephant.
