Gould Piano Trio

16th February 2020 · 6:30pm - 8:30pm

In person | Virtual event

 Gould Piano Trio

Mozart | Trio in E K542 (1788)
Korngold | Trio in D Op.1 (1910)
Brahms | Trio No. 2 in C Op.87 (1880-82)

Lucy Gould (violin)
Richard Lester (cello)
Benjamin Frith (piano)

The Gould Piano Trio, directly compared to the great Beaux Arts Trio for their “musical fire” and “dedication to the genre” in The Washington Post, have remained at the forefront of the international chamber music scene for a quarter of a century. They make their long-awaited return to Conway Hall with a programme of Mozart and Brahms, flanking Erich Korngold’s opus 1, written at the age of just thirteen and dedicated to his father.
