how to: Brexit Debate

 how to: Brexit Debate

Moderated by Matthew Taylor. Arguing to leave the EU: Tom Kremer, Roger Scruton, Daniel Hannan. Arguing to stay in the EU: Simon Glendinning, Justin Champion and Stanley Johnson. Don’t Know: Adam Zamoyski.

The how to: Academy presents a Brexit debate with a difference. It will focus not on the short-term economic considerations but on the very heart of Britain’s relationship to the European Union.

With a line-up of political theorists, philosophers, historians and politicians, this debate will explore the role of the contemporary nation-state, address the question of sovereignty, and untangle issues of national identity.

And unusually at the centre of the debate, the historian Adam Zamoyski will take the position of the undecided voter – articulating the questions that we have about the future of Britain.

Join the how to: Academy for this special debate, and you will come away knowing not only what you think about the arguments for and against Brexit, but also what you believe is right for the future of the UK.
