“I Musicanti offers vivacious, colourful, flowing and finely nuanced accounts…” – BBC Music Magazine
I Musicanti presents an enchanting evening exploring the piano quintet tradition. Beethoven’s Piano Quartet Op.16 showcases his early Classical elegance and wit. Cramer’s Piano Quintet No.3 offers a rare glimpse into this virtuoso pianist-composer’s chamber music, blending technical brilliance with lyrical charm. The concert culminates with Schubert’s beloved “Trout” Quintet, whose radiant melodies and infectious variations on his song “Die Forelle” capture the composer’s gift for creating music of pure joy and spontaneity.
