London Performing Academy of Music: La Bohème: 100 Years of Puccini

Conway Hall is proud to host the London Performing Academy of Music’s unique performance of La Bohème, as we commemorate the centenary of the death of legendary opera composer, Giacomo Puccini.

One of Puccini’s most famous operas, La Bohème follows the story of two young, bohemian lovers in Paris in the 1830’s. A tragic tale of love, hardship and loss; La Bohème combines a timeless story with an outstanding score, adored by music-lovers around the world. This innovative production will combine the period costumes and traditional settings with augmented reality and mixed visual effects.

La Bohème will be led and directed by Professors Chiara Angella and Silvio Zanon – international opera stars from the original Italian tradition and tutelage of Luciano Pavarotti, Magda Olivero and Giuseppe Scandola – with the LPMAM Opera Studio and Orchestra under the baton of Stefano Seghedoni. The opera will feature a special appearance by the Childrens’ Choir of Hernhill C.o.E Primary School.
