Lawrence Krauss is the author of the international bestseller A Universe From Nothing, which presents ground-breaking evidence for how our universe evolved—and the implications for how it’s going to end. He is Foundation Professor in the School of Earth and Space Exploration and the Physics Dept, Co-Director of the Cosmology Initiative, and Inaugural Director of the Origins Initiative at Arizona State University. He has wide research interests, including the interface between elementary particle physics and cosmology. He has long been involved in issues of science and society and has helped spearhead national efforts to educate the public about science.
Professor Jim Al-Khalili OBE is a theoretical physicist, author and broadcaster. He is currently Professor of Theoretical Physics and Chair in the Public Engagement in Science at the University of Surrey. He has hosted several BBC productions about science, including BBC Radio 4’s The Life Scientific.
