City, University of London’s Malaysian Night: Shallow. Harry, the prodigy violinist pushed in to a life of fame by his obsessive mother. He always looks for a form of escapism to cope with the added pressure of being the ‘perfect’ son. His best friend, Naomi, who always fails to meet her dad’s expectations in the art of dance. Their porcelain doll friend Liyana with no intention to harm a fly. Liyana’s best friend Izaq, who is always by her side, supporting her through thick and thin. A harmless group of friends, but will soon realise that their fates intertwine and quite possibly, break apart.
