Come and meet Mary Wollstonecraft. Born 1759, alive and and well and living in Bloomsbury – she’s got a few ideas (and opinions) and she’s going to write a book…

Mary, Mary… aims to capture the energy and relevance of Mary Wollstonecraft’s thoughts, words and actions. The performance is a work in progress as part of a research and development project for a longer play: an exploration of meeting points between the personal and political worlds and Mary’s ideas for a revolution in women’s behaviour and role in society – starting with the questions What are her ideas? How do they come about? And where do you come in?
