 Michael Connelly in Conversation

We are thrilled to be joined by Michael Connelly, one of the most successful crime writers working today, having sold more than eighty million copies of his novels worldwide across the last 30 years. His most recent novel, The Dark Hours, sees the return of Ballard and Bosch in another compelling police procedural, as New Year’s revelry turns fatal when an auto shop owner is murdered during a chaotic street party. Michael’s first novel was The Black Echo in 1992, the first in the phenomenally popular Harry Bosch series – the inspiration for the popular television series Bosch. Michael will be in conversation with broadcaster Phil Williams.

Michael Connelly is the author of thirty-four previous novels, including the #1 New York Times bestsellers Dark Sacred Night, Two Kinds of Truth, and The Late Show. His books include the Harry Bosch series and the Mickey Haller series as well as several stand-alone novels and other mini-series. Connelly is a former newspaper reporter who has won numerous awards for his journalism and his novels. He is the executive producer of Bosch, starring Titus Welliver, and the creator and host of the podcast Murder Book. The Lincoln Lawyer was released on Netflix in May 2022, based upon Michael’s bestselling Mickey Haller series, and rocketed to the top of the TV streaming charts worldwide in its first week.
