The Centre of Innovation Management Research at Birkbeck reflects on the experience of Covid-19 in its different phases, from lockdown to a new start, looking at how innovation processes, modes and practices have evolved. Taking on the different research streams on innovation and Covid-19, the panel will share insights and ideas on how a system of innovation reacts in the case of an emergency to go through it and learn from it. The reflection should take us towards a system of innovation prepared to face unknown emergencies, a sort of emergency-proof system of innovation.
