The Sōra Trio is a very fine ensemble indeed. Their understanding of the composition, their listening of each other, their sensitive and lively music-making Sir András Schiff
French Trio Sōra were winners of the HSBC prize at the Aix-en-Provence Festival Academy (2017), the Parkhouse Award (2017) and the Verbier Festival Special Prize Academy (2018). The programme for their Conway Hall début combines classic works for piano trio with Fanny Mendelssohn’s passionate, virtuosic, under-rated trio of 1846.
Haydn | Trio in E minor Hob. XV:12 (1788)
Ravel | Trio in A minor (1914)
Fanny Mendelssohn | Trio in D minor Op.11 (1846-7)
Clémence de Forceville (violin)
Angèle Legasa (cello)
Pauline Chenais (piano)
