The Regency Quartet was formed at the Royal Academy of Music in 2021 and comprises of scholars at London conservatoires. The quartet is coached and mentored by Alex Redington from the Doric Quartet. In 2023, the quartet was selected by the Royal Academy of Music for the prestigious Sir Elton John Global Exchange Programme. During their visit to Hong Kong through the programme, they enjoyed masterclasses with musicians from the Lincoln Center’s Chamber Music Society along with Ida Kavafian and Steven Tenenbom from the Curtis Institute of Music. The Regency Quartet has recently been accepted to participate in the International Musicians Seminar Prussia Cove, studying with Kim Kashkashian.

Access Information
This event is in the Main Hall, which is located on the ground floor. The balcony is accessible only by stairs.
All the ground-floor rooms are accessible by wheelchair. Main Hall (street access, step-free), Brockway Room (street access, step-free), Bertrand Russell Room (street access, shallow ramp), Cafe (street access, step-free). There is also an accessible toilet on the ground floor opposite the Brockway Room.
Further Info
Our pop-up bar will be open before and during the interval of the performance, in our foyer. It serves a selection of ethically and sustainably produced drinks.
