 Regenerative Fashion Futures

Join Fashion Declares and a collective of sustainable fashion experts at Conway Hall to launch Regenerative Fashion Day, part of the BFC London Fashion Week event schedule.

We kick off with a unique catwalk showcasing a spectrum of the best regenerative fashion practices available today from a host of designers, from the iconic Zandra Rhodes, Bora Aksu for People Tree and trailblazing couturier Tammam, to exciting newcomers Prickly Thistle and Munib Nawaz, and many more. Highlighting exquisite garments made using traditional crafts practice, regenerative materials and innovative advances – the future of fashion is here.

After the show there will be a panel discussion on how to build a regenerative and just fashion industry, end fossil fuel dependency, and move towards sustainable fibres and production that honour people, place and planet.

Hosted by Fashion Declares’ Safia Minney, the panel will include:

The interactive Q&A will be followed by live performances by poet Rakaya Fetuga, award-winning sound maker Lauriem, poet and multi-instrumentalist Alya Isha, and NILE, whose music spans disco to soul and R&B.

Profits go to support Fashion Declares, a bottom-up, fashion-industry-wide movement to promote rapid action in the climate, ecological and social emergency. If you want to attend this event, but the price is a barrier for you, please contact info@conwayhall.org.uk.
