Nicholas McCarthy

Nicholas McCarthy is a one-handed concert pianist whose historic graduation from the Royal College of Music in 2012 made press headlines around the world. Internationally, he has performed in the USA, South Africa, Kazakhstan and Malta. As a champion of piano music for the left hand, Nicholas fronted International Piano’s ground-breaking exploration of the genre for the magazine’s July/August issue.

The concert will include original pieces for left hand alone, with transcriptions by Paul Wittgenstein and Nicholas himself.

The Independent, August 2012
