Meik provides a guide to help us create more ‘lykke’ (Danish for happiness) in our lives. From how we spend our precious time, to how we relate to our neighbours and cook dinner, he’ll share evidence, stories and tips from the very happiest corners of the planet.

Meik Wiking is CEO of The Happiness Research Institute and Research Associate for Denmark at the World Database of Happiness. He holds degree in business and political science and has previously worked for the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vilstrup Research and the think tank Monday Morning. He lives in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Meik has written several books and reports on happiness, subjective well-being and quality of life and is used as a public speaker around the world. His research has been featured in more than 500 media outlets and he has spoken at TEDx. His books have been translated into more than fifteen languages and include the best-selling The Little Book of Hygge and his new book The Little Book of Lykke: the Search for the World’s Happiest People.
