Sunday Assembly: Global Goals
5th April 2020 · 11:00am - 1:00pm
In person | Virtual event
Join us for an inspiring talk by Henry Blanchard about how he transformed his life to do good in the world. Henry is a co-founder of Uganda Marathon, an organisation that works year-round to create a combined sporting event, cultural festival, and public fundraiser, Uganda Marathon works with people in the Masaka region of Uganda to address their needs in areas such as education and healthcare.
Sunday Assembly aims to inspire a sense of community with sing-along pop and rock tunes, a poetry reading, an energetic host, and a member of the community coming up to tell us how they’re “trying their best”. Everyone is welcome.
Please stay after for tea, biscuits, and lively conversation with other members of the community.
Our assemblies are free to attend, but we kindly request that you support us so we can continue to keep it open to those who cannot afford to contribute. We will have donation buckets as well as iZettle card readers. Thank you!
Free (suggested donation: £10)
