 Sunday Concerts: Linos Piano Trio

The Linos Piano Trio’s colourful and distinctive musical voice draws on the rich cultural and artistic backgrounds of the three musicians. Their seven languages, five nationalities, and breadth of specialisms ranging from historical performance to new music, contribute to their multifaceted and personal performances. Alongside the ensemble’s commitment to the genre’s masterpieces, Linos expands the repertoire by championing hidden gems and creating new trio transcriptions.

As an ensemble on a mission, the Linos Piano Trio are not so much stealing the repertoire of others as enhancing the medium with their own arrangements.

**Due to injury, we are sorry that Konrad Elias-Trostmann is unable to perform for us this evening.  We are hugely grateful to Benjamin Gilmore for standing in at short notice.  Please note the slightly amended programme below.**

Benjamin Gilmore (violin)
Vladimir Waltham (cello)
Prach Boondiskulchok (piano)

Beethoven | Trio in B flat Op.97 ‘Archduke’
Boulanger | D’un soir triste
Ravel | Trio in A minor

About the Sunday Concerts

Founded in the 1880s, our chamber music concert series is the longest-running of its kind in Europe. Conway Hall was purpose-built in 1929 to host concerts and lectures, and they have continued here until the present day. The ethos of “affordable classical music for all” still remains.

We are pleased to be able to welcome an audience for this performance, and will also stream the concert on YouTube Live. Attendance in person may not be possible if government guidelines change prior to the event. We reserve the right to make this event livestream only and will inform ticket holders in advance.
