Sunday Concerts: Maria Canyigueral

We are pleased to be able to welcome an audience for this performance, and will also stream the concert on YouTube Live and Vimeo. A prizewinner in several International Competitions, including the Ile de France International Piano Competition (Paris); the Pirani Piano Trio Prize with Ianthe Ensemble (London) and International Chamber Music Competition Antón García Abril (Granada), Maria‘s recent project ‘Avant-Guarding Mompou’ was premiered at Conway Hall in June 2018. Her autumn recital offers something entirely different: a special opportunity to enjoy an exquisite selection of Bach on Conway Hall’s wonderful Bösendorfer.

About the Sunday Concerts

Founded in the 1880s, our chamber music concert series is the longest-running of its kind in Europe. Conway Hall was purpose-built in 1929 to host concerts and lectures, and they have continued here until the present day. The ethos of “affordable classical music for all” still remains.
