The Main Tent and the Side Shows – Movement is everything

Adlerian Society UK presents; The Adlerian Society London Lecture:; Presented by Jill Reynolds; Could this be a challenge at the festive season? In this evening we will explore the smooth movement of those who have courage to solve life’s internal and external problems – those who say “yes” in the Main Tent and those who hesitate and say “yes but….” to create a side show of excuses.; The Adlerian concept of movement is a challenge to get your head around – it is so all-encompassing and yet is visible in the tiniest attitude degree style and direction. It holds so much and yet can be distilled into the essence of an individual – their lifestyle.; We all strive towards a superior position to overcome our natural feelings of inferiority. This can be a useful striving towards biological and social adaptation. However it depends on the purpose to which we put this striving. We can use it on the side of social interest or against it.; In our evening together we will explore the smooth movement of those who have courage to solve life’s internal and external problems – those who say “yes” in the Main Tent and those who hesitate and say “yes but….” to create a side show of excuses.; Jill Reynolds; Jill obtained her Diploma in Adlerian Counselling in 1999 qualified as a supervisor in 2007 and in the same year gained ASIIP accreditation.
