There was an excellent rapport between these artists… passionate and so expressive… virtuosic playing from all the artists. [Newbury News / Newbury Spring Festival, 2015]
The Trio Isimsiz was formed in 2009 at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, under the guidance of Louise Hopkins, Carole Presland and Alasdair Tait. In 2015 they won 1st Prize and the Audience Prize at the Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition.
Over the last year the Trio has returned to Aldeburgh to undertake a residency, and give recitals in the main festival and Britten Weekend.
Concert highlights included recitals at Wigmore Hall, Tivoli Concert Hall, the Fundacion Juan March in Madrid, Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Gower (broadcast by Radio 3), Peasmarsh and Stavanger Festivals. They collaborated with Anthony Marwood, Richard Lester and Aleksander Madzar and attended IMS Prussia Cove working with Ferenc Rados.
Future engagements include recitals at the Marianischer-Saal in Lucerne, Trondheim Chamber Music Festival, Wigmore Hall, Royal Welsh College of Music and Brighton Dome. They perform Beethoven’s Triple Concerto at Snape Maltings Concert Hall in Aldeburgh and tour throughout Argentina and China.
The Trio Isimsiz was selected for representation by YCAT in 2013.
