Unfinished Journey Concert: United Strings of Europe with Héloïse Werner

Reflecting on the refugee crisis, United Strings of Europe presents a programme spanning three centuries featuring composers with immigrant backgrounds including the UK premiere of Lebanese composer Bechara El Khoury’s Unfinished Journey, and the London premiere of Argentinian composer Osvaldo Golijov’s Three Songs for Soprano in Yiddish, Spanish and English with the outstanding French soprano Héloïse Werner. The theme also ties into United Strings of Europe’s outreach work with refugees and asylum seekers delivered London and Essex in partnership with Together Productions.
