Wonders of Veganism: become a humanist vegan
19th November 2017 · 11:00am - 12:30pm
In person | Virtual event
Let’s take a look at the wellbeing of our global human population as affected by animal agriculture and productisation. A topic that has been absent from mainstream communication in modern times yet can be understood as a pressing humanist issue, to define the stewardship that will prevent the breakdown of our environment and global society.
In this talk, Olivia Mather will discuss environmental damage, land use, public health, macroeconomic factors and illuminate how our treatment of animals reflects our relationship as humankind and with the biosphere we all share.
